Oh product photography, how I have misjudged thee!

I always thought that sticking products in front of a white background with even lighting to be incredibly dull, and while that's true and folks still need that for web thumbnails, it turns out you can have as much fun photographing products as models.

These cactus pens from House of Vestress stand behind a towel-blue sky with hand-threaded floating cotton wool clouds and stand on real beach sand.

Now I'm running round looking for old wine bottles and all sorts of things, I've never been able to make anything (two left thumbs here) but this is as close to crafting as I'm likely to get.

Can't wait to get another set started!
