When do the blue bells make their appearance? June, it's June isn't it? Late May? No, they arrive by April and for once I didn't miss them.
Stepping into the forest to be photographed amongst them we have the lovely Tyreece Frost. Besides lending her face to modelling, Ty is a musician who also creates art in her spare time.
Ty has the cool-girl look down and can really deliver the fashion glare like no other, but don't be fooled she is nice and softly-spoken in person. After telling me she'd not been feeling her best lately I'm doubly glad she came out to shoot with me.

The week had gifted us some very fine weather, it was hot and sunny. Too sunny actually and although I thought it would be shady in the woods it seems I had chosen an area with little tree coverage. Nevertheless we battled on, meaning a bit of extra patience while I tinkered with setting up an extra light and trying to keep it in place.
In the end I think I won the fight and we have a nice set of photos to show for it. I went for some cool fashion-y shots before taking soft portraits with the bluebells. We even have a few frames of poi; thanks for bringing those along Ty!
You can see the rest of the set here.

Note - No bluebells were harmed in the making of these images. We were careful to stick to the path/previously flattened areas.
